When the last ferry of the day left Angel Island last Saturday evening, what remained for the following 17 hours until the next ferry arrived in the morning were: a smattering of park rangers, determined raccoons, hoppy deer, wind-blown campers, and a photographer who had been daunted–but not defeated–by the uphill hike to campsites 1 & 2 with friends, heavy backpacks and photo gear. The 52 Project must prevail!
