If you ever want to meet a true Lakers fan, go find my dad. He’ll be the one with a Golden Retriever dressed up in a purple shirt at Monday’s Laker championship parade in LA.
I’ve been a Lakers fan since the ’80s when I would go to games at the Forum with Dad. But unlike him, I’ve never bought nor worn any Lakers paraphernalia. I’m not that type of fan. Things I also don’t like: bumper stickers and pretty much anything touting anything. That’s why I think it’s funny that I inadvertently set aside a purple top and yellow (or gold if you will) sweater on Wednesday night when I was packing up for last night’s flight, which coincided with Game 7, to NorCal after 10 days in SoCal.

Meet Dudley. He dances with the Printz Dance Project, RAWdance, and Janice Garrett and Dancers. We had a fun afternoon of shooting in the Presidio where a new installation called Presidio Habitats recently opened.
